The Ducati 748 is one of the most recognisable sport bikes ever made. The definitive 'R' version introduced in 1999 was a high performance track tuned race ready machine. Compared to the standard Ducati 748 the 748R has a more powerful engine, superior suspension and brakes, lightweight wheels and carbon fibre fairing sections.

The R was used as a race homologation bike for the World Supersport and World Superbike series.

The Engine has larger valves, more extreme camshafts, stronger titanium conrods and a larger airbox. It has lightweight Marchesini wheels, Showa forks and an Ohlins rear monoshock.

This is a single purpose bike. It has no rear seat and is only designed for short hops - ideally on a nice dry day on twisting country roads.

Secure off road parking is a must.

Special conditions: Riders must be 30 or over or from 25 with at least two years full bike licence. CDW does not apply to motorcycles, please enquire about excess levels at time of booking as these may vary from time to time. All bikes have alarm systems and ‘sold secure’ approved chains will be provided and must be used to fasten bikes to grounded objects – ie. railings etc. Riders must provide their own clothing and helmets.
