The Ferrari 360 had a lot to live up to, the outgoing 355 was rated as one of the most beautiful and usable Ferraris ever built, so it didn't have to be merely good, it had to be exceptional. Luckily it was!
Underneath those breathtaking curves the 360 was a huge advance on the outgoing 355. The all-aluminium construction resulted in an incredibly stiff chassis and it was lighter than the 355 and noticeably quicker.
Not only does the 360 handle beautifully but it goes like a bat out of hell. At its heart it has a 3586cc V8 that produces the most electrify noise . As the revs build past 4000rpm the exhaust note changes from a menacing crackle to a howling wail. It's undoubtedly one of the most intoxicating automotive sounds in the world. Book her out and head for the nearest tunnel!
